Description: NCWRA Fall Luncheon & Forum

Your organization has been collecting data for years, how is it being used?  Data sets that are maintained within unique software applications are not accessible to all stakeholders. How can you bring all of this data from diverse software applications into a single holistic dataset?

All of this can be accomplished without implementing a complex and expensive centralized data warehouse.  With the use of Power BI, users can have access to divergent remote datasets to display data in informative and decision-based dashboards for digestion and analysis.

What data sources do you have and how can they be leveraged and transformed into actionable data driven decision making that can help to optimize processes, enable your utility to meet compliance requirements, improve operations, reduce costs, provide transparency, enable long range planning and provide enhanced customer service all while eliminating data silos and encouraging a collaborative team environment?

Many utilities and municipalities have spent lots of time and money investing in network monitoring systems, inspection programs, GIS, SCADA, modeling software, CMMS systems, Customer Management and Billing platforms systems only to fail to get a full return on those investments by not utilizing the data to help make informed decisions and better manage their assets.

Got condition assessment data that is not reviewed and leveraged?  Wondering what to do with years of work order history?  How can all of this information be used for long range planning, sustainability and assist your utility in making the move from reactive to proactive maintenance? This is the fun part, folks.  What are you waiting for?!

Join KCI Technologies’ Deirdre Blackard and Shana Lowe as they lead an engaging presentation on asset management data analytics, including analysis of such diverse data sources as condition assessment inspections, CMMS work order history, network monitoring systems, GIS mapping systems with alternate data sources, modelling scenarios, historic failures, and metering statistics for performing risk analysis and determining best fit maintenance strategies as well as developing customer communication plans and CIP identification and prioritization programs.
